Just wondering if anyone else had an automatic gt with the comp xe270 cams. I have a chance to get a set and was wondering what all i would need to do the swap, and I was wondering what kind of gains would i get from the cams.

The best stall converter hands down is the Precision Industries 9.5" Triple Disc locking TQ - under the stall speed i can cruise around with no problem, but when i nail it you can actually feel the TQ lock very firmly and go.. it's nice :)

Do you need to have the totque converter or will it be fine with out it, and with the 270's will i need a computer chip or will my power programmer be enough.

5.0 mag did an article this month using NON-pi heads on a 96GT and the middle cam grind the 268. They got 25 hp and 10ft/lb.

With my 2002 with PI heads and the 270 grind,(has more lift and duration), I'm hoping for 30 hp and 15 ft/lb.

cams are $530
spring are $180
