What would it take to do a complete 5-lug swap to an 1989 LX that is BONE stock? I would like a list if it could be possible. I think we will be doing Moser 31 spline axles if possible, and one of the mach 1 brake kits. What else is needed?

P.S. I tried to search, but only got 3 pages to turn up, and they were all technical terms. Sorry if this question has been asked 1000 times.

i put the 94 rear end from my cobra in my car (it is a little longer than the stock fox rear but i didnt have any problems with it) and the 94 cobra front spindles bolted right in. the only problem i ran into is the ball joint is different and you need to run the 94 and up ball joint or you wont be able to tighten the nut all the way down on it and it will cause problems. other than that its pretty much a bolt up n go swap unless you are going to 4 wheel discs like me and then you need to mess with the booster and proportioning valve like i did but thats another story

Theres a spacer that Breeze Automotive sells that allows you to use the stock fox balljoints.

Im piecing together a 5 lug swap. So far I have new pads and rotors for the front, Ranger axles for the rear, '03 v6 wheels and a brake hose adapter.

Im waiting for a guy on another site to send out the '94 v6 spindles and calipers I bought off him. Its been a few weeks and Im starting to get worried that he's going to screw me over.

Not a problem you just need a spacer or washers with a total thickness of .330

Most likely a Pro Star 15x10 or 15x8 in the rear and 15x3s up front. I will probably need a spacer for up front so the rims fit. The tires will be Mickey Thompson ET Streets out in the back.
