If I get a set of pistons that make 10.13 to 1 compression with 58.2 cc heads, what would the compression be with twisted wedge heads, I think they are 61cc, thanks for your help.

Need more info then that but I would guess a 3 cc gain would drop you down to around 9.7-9.8:1 You need more info though...gasket thickness torqued, head gasket bore, deck height, piston dish/dome, also assuming this may not be a 302 need bore, stroke etc to give accurate numbers. If everything was static number si would assume my educated guess to be accurate.

It is a 302 bored .020, as for the gaskets I don't have them yet so I can't answer that one, it is standard deck though.

The engine will have a Federal Mogul rebuild kit from summit racing, includes all bearings, gaskets, and pistons and rings, and the top is going to be the trick flow top end kit, if that helps, the pistons part number is TRW-L2488F20

yeah yous hould fall into the 9.7 ish range..depending on headgasket bore and thickness. I imagine you would run a 4.06 or 4.1 bore head gasket probably between 021 -041 thick so anywhere between 9.5 and under 9.8 woudl be good guestimate. Yoru cam? your static compression is important number but valve events equal dynamic compression which is even more important. You can run alot more static compression on say unleaded gas under 93 octane if your dynamic compression is pretty low. My motor sits at about 11.7~11.9:1 static but my dynamic is about 9.5:1 so i could run a pump gas tune like some friends do in their street/strip cars...
