Compression test help??

This is not a bad idea, but only do this if you are comfortable doing so and make sure the car is out of gear!

Also, I've HEARD that holding the throttle wide open actually cuts off the fuel. And since you do a compression check with the throttle wide open, it would take care of that. But like I said, I'm not sure of this. Anyone?
