Well, I just did a compression check on my 306. I went 5 compression strokes per cylinder. Results are from cylinder 1-8 in order:

130
141
150
140
148
150
146
148

Given the 15% between highest/lowest rule...I'm right on the limit for that #1 cylinder.

Do y'all think it would be safe to run a 75-100 dry shot on this rotating assembly? It's all forged and ran pretty well with the blower. There's no smoke coming out the tailpipes either.

Thanks

Also, this was done on a somewhat cold engine (been sitting for a good 3 hours or so after being ran).

EDIT: I just realized something...I didn't have the throttle plate opened.....So you can probably elevate those numbers a tad. Add this to the fact that it was a semi-warm engine (and it's forged) and I think my numbers would jump up a decent amount.

should be no problem, but i always reccommend to dynotune your car with nitrous that is what will make it safe. i had mine done the price i paid was $85 which i believe is the going rate. took 1 hour which is normal for a nitrous tune cost is $85 an hour its well worth it within that hour he tuned mine n.a. and on nitrous..

I'm thinking it'll be fine...I'm just looking for some second opinions. As far as the tune, I'd never run a power-adder without a tune. I already have a nitrous tune made up on the tweecer
