here are my numbers for the compression test,
1-130
2-145
3-140
4-125
5-150
6-155
7-150
8-147
heres the reasons i ran the test.
this video is about 4 mins after start up.
351 smoking, valve guides or piston rings
351w smoking, after 7 mins
operating temp 15mins
is it more than a coincidence that the lower numbers are on the same side? if it were rings broken down due to running rich wouldnt both sides be showing similar numbers?
interesting thing about #2 it had the worst looking plug and it was one with descent compression on that side, where as the #1 cylinder had a good looking plug but bad compression numbers.
where do i go from here?
