Hey guys, so while trying to figure out where all the oil in my engine was going to I had a compression check completed. The cylinders ranged between 3% and 23% beneath where they should. What can I do to cure this? Or at least help a little bit? Thanks in advance.

x2, but it does sound like the engine's going to need new piston rings.

Subscribing!

My car is doing similar things, like 'loosing' oil.

I plan on doing a compression test as soon as I get time.

Since re-ringing the engine is about the only way to fully cure the problem,
what have you guys heard about Federal Mogul kits? Any good?

I had the bottom end rebuilt on my engine only last month with new Federal Mogul rod/main bearings and Sealed Power moly rings. I've done 1000 miles since with zero problems (knock on wood).

Good to hear, I think I need new rings I'll go the Federal Mogul route.
