I just built my motor and am currently breaking it in. I was wondering about a chip. I was thinking to just get a super chip or something just to get rid of the stock rev limiter and get the idle to around 900 rpm. I can tune the car with timing and fuel pressure my self.
Is it worth the money for a custom chip and a dyno tune? Mods are as follows.
-ported windsor jr heads
-F-303 camshaft
-typhoon intake
-full lengths
-afpr
-all accompanying bolt ons
The car still has the stock pump and injectors. I was thinking of going to a 119 pump and 24 pounders. But I was only gonna do that if I end up using spray. What do yall think?
