This may have been covered, but I could not find what I was looking for under the search engine, and I need to ask because I am still very green to the technical side of upgrading my GT.

I was reading up on the Kenne Bell Switch Kit. Has anyone ever used one of these, or any other chip with a noticable difference? I posted a seperate topic earlier about using a speedcal since I changed to 3.73 gears, and a chip was recommended. Would the chip be good for raising HP, and correcting the speedometer at once? Any help would be appreciated. What about pricing?

With the chip you can adjust your timing, air/fuel, speedometer for gear change or tire size and a host of other things. You can have it programmed to match your car and any modifications. It is good for a heavily modded car. You also might want to look into SCT chips also. I think they have a flip chip available for our cars now. When i got mine they didn't. It allows you 3 or 4 different programs to choose from by flipping a switch.
