Computer Code Question..

Question about Computer code:

I know the computer code is in the passenger side door jam.. I have an 03 Mustang GT 4.6L AOD and I BELIEVE my code is MEW1 does this sound right? Are there any others with this computer code owning an 03 GT AOD? There's a little rip at the end of the code, but I know codes only have 4 digits so I hope this is correct. Someone help me if I'm wrong and someone let me know if I'm right. Thanks a lot!

That is one of the Mustang codes listed by Diablo for Mustang chips, so I'm *assuming* that's it. If you're unsure, take the passenger side kick panel off - you should be able to look in there at the PCM without having to remove it - the sticker is on the box where the harness connects (near the bottom).

Thats sounds like the right code. The code is three letters followed by a number. Mine is GTG3.

I would pull the kick plate and check the computer. Save yourself the trouble of sending it back to get re-programmed if your wrong. I mention this on your other post, unless your changing gears it doesn't do alot for rear wheel horsepower. In your case it will change your shift points with a AOD, but there are several mods for less money that will give you more bang for your buck !
