I have a 05 GT. I put on an axel back Flowmaster exhaust and a MAC straight Shot CAI. Since the MAC I am getting a check engine light. The code is indicating a lean condition. The literature did not mention anything about having to dyno or flash tune. I tried unhooking the battery cable and resetting the computer. This works until the engine reaches operating temp. and the light comes back on. I am still under warenty and I am in an inspection state which requires the light to be operational. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I increase the fuel pressure, whill that correct and if so, will I still have to re-tune? I want to keep it on 87 oct. if possible.

If you increase airflow, as you did with the MAC CAI, you MUST retune to obtain the correct air/fuel ratio. You can continue to utilize 87 octane, but the A/F ratio needs to be corrected.If I were you, I would re-install the stock airbox until such time that you can obtain a custom or canned tune for the MAC.
