I think it would be polite to ask computer and related questions and post helpful info in a separate thread rather than derail another misc. thread.
To start out, how are the heavy users doing with Windows. 11? How are business and home networks doing with it?
Info-
I have my Win 10 small business and home networks working with networked printers and shared back up storage with fike and media sharing. So I have been letting others work out the new system glitches while I got the McAfee disaster with Chrome, Edge and Win 10 fixed on about 7 frequently used computers on two networks. (Plus kindles and idevices.)

Then my 18 year old asked for a real computer for her birthday (not just a school chomebook with lots of. restrictions) for college in the fall. The Dell Inspiron that seemed like the best fit came with Win 11 home, not the S version. Besides needing some help with installing printers and networking, she has not needed my help. The SSD runs a lot faster than my 2 year old bigger inspiron that I would hate to lug to class, but works as a portable TV.
Besides that my Canon Pixma MX880 and the Canon Selphie photo printer will probably not work with Win 11 without a work around, if at all, Anything else to look out for?
The HP all in one black laser printer still works, so she's haappy.

I still have win10 on everything myself but purchased my 13 year old an alienware desktop at the end of last month which came with windows 11 home. He tends to push everything to its limit and overclocks his machine here and there and hasn't had any issues so far with 11.

Does anyone know if the Consumer Technology Association is a good group, an evil group, or a PAC? They are running ads on national news about security crippling legislation without specifics.

Viagra,and no more floppy dicks.
I still have two Win 7 desktops packed somewhere from when we moved. I will remember this advice if they need help getting up and running.
(One was a network back up, and the other has programs that newer Windows versions do not like, and was good in the shop.)

As cheap as printers are you could probably replace or add one if she wanted an upgrade. Some schools offer tech discounts as well.

Apple prices are inflated by the fanboys.

That, and they're still coasting on the fumes of Jobs' innovative spark.
