That's a good idea. I plan on getting a set of mechanical gauges and I want to keep the water temp and oil pressure gauges functional. How would you hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and still be able to keep the stock one?

I used a Tee for both OP senders. I run two elec gauges though. For a mech gauge, you can do the Tee or remove the 'hex tube' that the stock sender mounts to and tap a hole for the mech line to screw into.
The stock sender uses 1/4" NPT threads and most aftermarket ones are 1/8". So just adapters/reducers accordingly.
