Does anyone know if there is a company that will be producing the side and window scoops that appeared on the concept Mustangs? I really like the looks of the '05 with the scoops. I also like the looks of the round turn signal lights that are on the concept.

I, too, liked the hood and side scoops of the concept.

The SN95 concept (Mustang III?) had some really nice hood scoops which later appeared on the '96 Cobra. Hopefully, the S197 concept scoops will show up on a (not too distant) future Mustang model.

There are already several companies out there that make those side vents for current mustangs so I am sure they will make them for the new 05. Try searching online...here's one http://www.visuslouvers.com/side.htm and Clasic Design Concepts already has plans to sell just that. Here's a link http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/ they dont have them for sell yet but will and this is where you can buy them. Not to mention that almost every aftermarket concept I've seen so far has the side vents on them.

Cervini's got ground effects in the works with all the scoops

I have seen that picture before. While it does look sharp, I really like the lines that the scoops on the concept give the car. They are more "form fitting" and stream lined with the car.

I am in the process of completing my '65 so that I can have it on the road by this coming spring. As much as I would love to grab an '05 GT, I will probably hold off to '06. This will give some time for aftermarket companies to produce some goodies, get any bugs fixed that appeared on the '05, and hopefully we will see a HP increase or special models sometime next year.

Thanks for the input guys!

BTW, I started comparing pics of the '05 and the concept side-by-side. It appears that some modification to the car would need to be done to fit the vehicle with the concept style "window" scoops. It appears that the lines that lead into the scoop start a lot closer to the door than the current side window, which is in place now. In other words, the gap between the two windows (door and side) is larger than the gap between the door window and the lines leading into the scoop.

I would imagine that it would still be possible to make the window scoops on the concept out of fiberglass. You would then need to customize that section between the door window and the scoop to create the lines leading into the scoop. Obviously, the side window would need to be completely removed. You would then need to do some work on the interior where the window once was.
