I happened to be looking at instructions for C/C plates on MM's site, and I had no idea you had to do strut adjustments with spacers when installing these things. It says its different for every car and that lowered cars require the strut thread to stick out higher by the amount that you have lowered the car. First off, I dont know what the original strut thread height was because the car has always been lowered, and the jack ass who installed the springs, kept the stock plates in. Looking at the stock struts now, I dont see any spacers anywhere so I doubt a lowering adjustment was ever done. What affect do the spacers have on alignment? Is this something the alignment shop will handle? Where should I set my spacers at since I'm using Eibach lowering springs? I'm assuming the car has approx. 1.5" drop. The plates I bought are Steedas and they should be here by friday. Anybody have the same issue or know more than the vague details from MM.
