So i bought this car over a year ago posted a few times asking for advice on how to fix looping idle and everyone has helped me a lot. I also found that this car is a whore and I am the 4th owner with only 59k miles when i bought her. One of the owners installed a Reichard Racing manifold, because of that i guess I found that the PVC valve leads into a tube which is plugged?? It seems that their are hoses all over this thing that I am not familiar with perhaps contributing to my looping idle.

My question is would do me the favor and take a picture of their engine bay which is mostly stock and/or possible explain which hoses should be where and where they connect to?

Thanks

This is not my picture but

The PCV valve vacuum hose is the only hose leading from the valve cover on YOUR left - up to the Plenum (upper manifold). There is also another vacuum line that comes from the valve cover on YOUR RIGHT(look at pic) but that is not going to the PCV valve.
I hope I explained that right - Chiltons/Haynes repair manuals are great and loaded with pictures as well.

well it seems that where the PCV is suppose to connect to on the plenum doesn't exist on the reicard racing mani. I would really hate to vent it to the atmosphere but I haven't seen anywhere else to recirculate it using plenum connection. any ideas?

also, there is a hose coming out of the plenum located next to the throttle body facing forward which then splits into a dead end and then going somewhere under my intake tube where does this lead to/do?

I have a Haynes manual but does nothing to give me any sort of diagram of this. :notnice:

your guess is as good as mine. all i know is the ses light reads lean and the idles loops pretty extreme. when the iac is unplugged it settles around 400rpms and wants to stall. sound like cams? no one gives me a straight answer lol

It does have a lot of pretty stickers in the engine bay which says manely rods and CP pistons and there are holes where a guage pod would be on pillar.
