So I got these mounted and have been a little dissapointed by how they bulge on the rim. I have 18x10's. I've owned other 315's before, RSII's right before these and have not had bulge. Nitto's usually run narrow so this surprised me. From a traction standpoint I'm very very pleased, and that's what is ultimately most important to me at my power level. Just prefer not have have a bulge.

Just thought I'd throw it out there for anyone considering these with 10in wide. You will have bulge for sure.

Here's some random pics. And one at the end of the flame pony I put on. Come on...I like it ok?!?!

nitto's run narrow, a 275 nitto, looks like a 255 compared to a 275 Mickey Thompson

well that's why I'm surprised. I've owned nitto's before....that's why I wasn't expecting this. Just sending an FYI to anyone looking at these thinnking they run narrow. They don't.

You have a badass car and you're worried about such a minor thing? Come on now...

I'd just rather not have bulge if given the choice. I bought the Nitto thinking there wasn't going to be any, like my previous RSII (315). I'm just giving peeps a heads up that this tire on a 10 will bulge.

Bulge? That looks like a properly sized tire. You have pics of your previous RSII (315)?

I agree with this, that looks about right to me. I'd prefer a tiny bit of bulge from a tire like that, since they don't have rim lip protectors on them anyway.

I was going to say, that is what a correctly sized tire looks like when it is mounted

a tire won't ride or wear correctly if the widest part of the tire isn't the center of the sidewall

Looks perfect to me. You could go for the "stanced" look and run a 275 on there.

The gap between the rim and the tire is what you should be pissed about...my old sumis looked like that and it was the worst looking thing ever...bugs the chit out of me when tires dont fit the rim how they should...the bulge is fine though...better than that stretched euro chit look...

p.s. you said bulge.....giggity

Looks fine to me. Maybe what are are talking about is the "rim protector" some tires have on them. Goodyear Eagle GT is one tire that comes to mind.
