@Mustang5L5 funny you mention that. We went to the store 2 nights ago and loaded an entire basket of groceries into the trunk of my coupe. I was impressed that it all fit, although the 4 cyl springs weren't as excited.
I asked the guy for receipts and, like so many people, he had none to present. Afterwards, he sent me some better pics and needless to say I wasn't impressed.
I started looking again and stumbled across this.
And here's a description :
1990 Mustang LX hatchback factory sunroof, has Harwood 4" lift off cowl hood, five lug conversion, 8.8 rear end with 410 gears, 35th anniversary 17" wheels, black interior with 85 Mustang leather seats, Summit dash gauge pod with (monster tack, oil pressure and coolant temp) rear seat deleted, t5 5 speed trans, King Cobra clutch, Steeda clutch quadrant and adjuster, new Ford racing clutch cable, long tube headers, x pipe and Flowmasters, battery relocated to trunk.
Engine is xxx 302 roller block bored .040 over speeda pro pistons, Ford racing e303 cam, Cobra (gt40p) heads, performer rpm air gap intake, summit racing HEI distributor, March accessory brackets for ps pump and alt, GM one wire alt, Proform 750 cfm Holley with HP center section, trick flow adjustable fuel pressure regulator with 6an lines, K&N 4" air filter element.
Guy wants 7k, more than what I wanted to spend, but looks like a nice vehicle with lots of potential. Once again though, is the price reasonable?

Found another one, this time it's a 93 notch, but still carbureted. Apparently it is next too impossible to find a nice looking EFI Stang in ohio. If anyone is curious about the notch, here's a link:

Talked the guy down to 7k in a matter of minutes, so most likely I could negotiate down to 6.
7k should get you something with a good frame and without rust, decent paint, and either have low mileage or has a mechanically sound built 302 hci with quality aluminum headsI am liking how honest you all are. Like I said in my initial post I know next to nothing about mustangs. That said, if I were to pay 7k for one, a fox body that is, what should I expect to get for that kinda money. I am learning, so try to forgive my ignorance on the subject.

I think I am still ahead, but that is ONLY because I got the car relatively cheap and all of the parts to fix it have been cheap. The only big expenses thus far were the transmission and brake swap, which were still $1500 combined.7k, bye bye mustang, hello happy wife.
If i had a guess i would say I have 9500 into the car including the original purchase price. I would probably let it go for 6

I don't know all the details of your car but iirc it is not your average decent Fox with a mild hci. I believe you have some very quality upgrades that make it a very nice driver overall$7K wouldn't get my car, that's for sure. It's not a show queen, but Its def a clean mustang for the area,
Too much time and emotion invested in it. Plus it was my first car. I drove that thing through HS and college.
I've been chased down and offered to buy it but have refused. I even have a few cards from guys in their 40's and 50's that said If i ever reconsidered, give them a call. I haven't.
Now...if some guy offered me a rediculous number...
