contour fan part # ?

just wandering if anyone has an oem part number for the contour fan? i finally found one at a salvage yard close by , the guy at the yard said the fan ends with a GE. is this the correct one? i dont want to drive there and be incorrect.. thanks

its actually coming out of a cougar,,, is it the same?

As long as it's off the V6 contour it's the one

Mmm. I'm not sure about the cougar, the equivalent of the contour is the mercury mistique I think

i guess i will drive out there and try it out,, he wants 60 for it. i guess thats good,,, better than stock setup

A Taurus fan also fits.

I think the Cougar and Contour fans are similar. I went to get a Contour fan from a yard and the guy broke it taking it off. I ended up with a Focus dual fan, pretty close to a Contour, maybe not quiet as much CFM as Contour, but it works.

What are you using for a controller? I have learned the hard way about using a cheap controller. These dual fans pull ALOT of amps. I burned my 30amp controller up. Looking at a DC controller right now. Trying to make up my mind.

Just something to think about.

I have the Cougar fans,with a dcc controller and works great in florida heat with the a/c on stuck in traffic.

i got the cougar fan today, looks like a close fit.. missing one plug for one of the motors, does anyone know were to get one/
