How the do the front UCA bolts attach to the UCA? My new UCA from Laurel Mountain came with an incorrect bolt, it was 1/2" coarse rather than fine and about an inch too short. Still functions just fine until I need to add shims, now I am running out of threads. Laurel Mountain has never experienced the problem before and offered to replace it if I returned it, but I won't have the time to dissassemble the front end until this time next month. Just wanted to see if I can easily replace the bolt myself before I completely tear down the front end.

When I removed my old UCA I had to pound out the old bolts. I believe they are pressed into the UCA shaft. The bolt itself does not have threads all the way up to the head of the bolt. The threads go up to where the bolt enters the shaft. This picture might help you see what I mean. I could be completely wrong that they are pressed in, but by having to pound mine out it makes me think they are pressed in.
