My mechanic has told me that I need new rear control arms. I want to get the MAC upper and lower control arms, but I've heard that they rip the crap out of your torque boxes is this true? Will I have to reinforce my torque boxes so down the road I dont get any problems with the torque boxes? Oh btw this car is my daily driver and will probably only see the track 2 or 3 times this summer.
Thanks,
Jesse

The shocks you put on the car won't dothat to your car the way you drive it will. I heard if you are going to launch your car like saturday morning on the dragstrip every time you drive your car they are gonna wreck. I am going to do them on my car can only make it stronger not too much money and they are selling them so ( although that is not always a valid) I am doing it to my 85gt .

Torque box reinforcements are cheap and VERY easy to install. Even if you don't launch your car hard right now, it may only take one or two times in the future to mess ups the torque boxes. I bought mine from stangman393 on eBay. He makes them himself and I could not believe how simple they were to install. Plus they were a bargain at $39.95, and free shipping too! Here's a link to one of his auctions on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33583&item=2468996152

You can also find him on Stangnet as stangman393. Good luck!
