Here's my situation. I autocross my car. I bought 2 rear lower and upper STOCK arms. I was going to box them, at my leisure so I don't have to have my car on a lift for a few days. Now I am thinking of getting some nice aftermarkets. I have some questions about them. Will they make an improvement in the handling especially around the twisties? I would like to get a panhard bar and all that good stuff, but you know, money. So should I box my current arms, and drop poly bushings in them, or pony up the cash and get some that will make a difference? Also which is a good brand to get?

I went with Factory Five arms, no complaints. This was a long time ago though, so now I am not even sure if they are still around. Price was only about $150, I think.

I just bought the Steeda steel upper and lowers from Mustang Services at the FFW in Commerce on sunday. $200 no tax. He had the macs too. If I was going to Autocross, I would have went with the Aluminum lowers from Steeda. I like the fact that the Steeda upper steels have the rubber bushing and not the polys.

They have some of the best out there.

They suggest FRPP uppers and their lowers.

They could try to sell you uppers that they could make and make money off of but they don't. They sell you what works.
