Conv. Top Problem

I have a 91 convert and the top seems to go down fine but when im putting it back up it gets stuck half way and you have to press the button and help the top up till it gets past the point that it stops at....any ideas?

You might check the top frame, make sure it's all nice and straight. Anyone know how these pumps behave on the way out? You might check for fluid leaks around there. I've only had my '89 a couple of years and haven't had this issue yet. Just can't make mine seal.

Yeah, that seems to be a huge problem on my '92 LX 5.0. I got the roof and weatherstripping replaced and I'm finding it's actually sealing worse after the replacement.

what i dont understand is i had an 89 and a and i could just stand in the back and pull it up cause it didnt work but this one i cant just pull it up i have to hold the button then lift it up?.......
