convert to mass air question?

i have a 88 speed density car, and was looking at this kit to convert to mass air. it seems alot easier to install can anyone tell me what they think of this? http://www.maftpro.com/tproinfo.shtml

Just read over it quickly, but it doesn't look like it is a Mass Air conversion kit but rather a tuner that allows you to use a different MAF if you are already setup for MAF. Or it allows you to go to a Speed Density setup on a MAF car. It didn't look like you could take a SD vehicle to a MAF setup. The best way to do it would be to get a complete wiring harness and ECM out of a MAF car. You could also buy the conversion kit but that might actually turn out to be more expensive.

i got the pro-m kit from 5.0 resto for about $70
it has all wires, connectors, and instructions
looks real simple, im doing it tommorrow

That's not a conversion kit.



All you need is an A9L/A9P, Mass air meter and intake tubing and either a factory OEM '89 Mass air harness or the $40 IST mass air harness

traded my computer in at advance auto parts and bought used c&l meter and bbk cold air kit

What did it cost to trade in your computer at Advance for the AL9 ?

Prob just bought the A9L and returned the stock SD comp as the core
