I am the proud owner of a 2007 base convertable. The only thing I dont like is the road noise that comes from the top well via the trunk. My question is, does FORD apply sound deadners to the more expensive models and is there a recomended way to reduce this noise?
Thanks. Vern

I believe the road noise is just a thing of the car. My '07 GT Vert has some noise but my straight pipes drown it out. You might be able to build a divider in the trunk that would stop sound from traveling towards the area where the top folds into. Other than that, it is a vert.

I have a 05 vert. It has the factory Pirelli tires. I think it is very quiet inside. I had a 90 GT vert & 97 Cobra vert they were both pretty noisey. In my opinion the 05 is a huge improvement over prior generations.

Yeah I never had the new convertable but I had a 98 and my friend has a 99 cobra convertable and its just the way convertables are. Im not sure how to cancell it out at all. But the convertable looks good so I guess its the proce you pay
