Have 1991 lx parts car that is a convertable,wiring harness is a rat's nest and engine is an anchor . Is there an easy way to raise and lower the top manually. I had a chevy (mistake!!!) convertable with a pressure relief/bypass on the pump so you could operate the top if case of pump failure. I realize I can disconnect the hydr cylinders, but I am looking for a simpler way first. I can not find this relief valve on the LX pump, and I can not find any literature on the subject. Any help you guys can give me is a plus.
