Actually a guy from Florida named Phil owns a buisness , MPSS. I think his site is, www.rmautomotivespecialists.com From what I understand they have built the first Eleanor 'vert. And it did sell for Fastback $$.
I spoke with the owner/buyer and that car turned out to be a rustbucket with an Eleanor kit on it. On top of that it was unsafe and compeletly unroadworthy. He was screwed royal on that one.
really, that bad? it's amazing then that the car brought $500,000 if it was that wavy. i'm not really very impressed with their work anyway, i just thought the vert was a pretty car. i'd still ditch the "power bulge" hood though those things are ugly as one legged hooker that got beat with an ugly stick since birth!!!!!
