I have a pretty new top but I'll try to send it to my guy to re check it.. Any ideas on where to look first if the top is not the prob? any notorious seals? I'm going to have to pull out the whole interior and trunk. Any help would be appreciated.
Found a few trunk leaks.
1. one rear wing bolt (of no significance)
2. gas fill tube gasket
3. Where the trunk hinge mounts to the body. The major leak.
It seems that the sealing compound cracked and allows water to infiltrate through the upper trunk seam. My questions are; Can I remove the sealer and replace it? What do I replace it with. Clean out the dirt and just reseal the area? Any help is appreciated. I'll move to the front leak this weekend.
