Convertible pillar pods different?

Is there a difference between a hard top and a convertible pillar plastic? I am seeing 94-04 hard top triple gauge setups with the entire piece. The key word here is hard top. I have to assume they are different? Are they?

i believe so. the vert a-pillar is returned for when the top is down. the hard top doesn't need that.

They are different. I never located a tripple gauge pod. I had a Autometer 2 gauge pod, the one that goes on top of the stocker. I have since switched to the these: http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/

i'm wondering the same thing.

i bought a 2-pod autometer pillar for a vert thinking i could fit it to my hardtop a piller bezel, but it's not the same shape.

gonna have to get rid of it and get a coupe pod.
