I have a 93 convertible and one day my lights on my rearview mirror didn't shut off when I shut the door. It wouldn't go off at all so I had to unhook them. What should I do to fix em? Any help would be apreciated.

Welcome to the Boards!

I agree- check your door pin switch. Do you have bulbs inserted in the sockets under the dash? If so, are those lights staying on too?

If it's the door pins switch: On my 88, there's one wire behind the door pin switch, and a new one was 5 bucks at AZ.

Good luck.

There isn't any bulbs under my dash. I push the switch in and out didn't do anything. I'm gonna take it out tommorrow and see if the wires messed up or anything.

This is so lame and simple... but did you flip the little on/off switches on the mirror itself????

I've seen people hit them and not realise it till it's dark out. (just a thought as I've never known anyone personally to have that problem)

Good Luck

I think my dimmer switch went out. Both switches are fine.
