Hi Guys
I noticed on some pics the Cobras have a diiferent material for their roofs than the standard GT/V6 I just wondered where you can buy those as I cant seem to find it on the usual sites.
Cheers

First the cobra roof is a cloth top rather then a vinyl one. That being said I don't believe there is any standard kit like there is for the vinyl tops. When I had my top switched to cloth I had it done at a quality upholstry/convertible shop. You will pay a little more for it, but I believe the results are worth it.

Oh WOW! What a difference.... And that happens to be the thing that bothers me the most about my car. After its washed and waxed, then that just makes the top look like *****. My top isnt in horrible shape either, but when the time comes to replace Ill look more into a cloth top.

Cobras and 40th anniversary GTs have cloth.

I got an estimate from the best trip shop in town: $500 for vinyl and $1000 for cloth installed.

Go to the Lincoln Mercury dealer and ask the service manager who is the best trim shop in town, the one they use. Then go get an estimate

If you want to bring the vinyl back to life use some 303 Aerospace Protectant on it
