I have a 95 convertible that haves a problem latching all the way down on the drivers side.Well I did some searching and tried fixing the hook and even bought a new hook and still having the same problem.The latch itself is messed up when you close the latch the hook shouldnt move freely well mines does so it tells me that sumthin under the metal bar that pivots the latch is broken.My question is how can I get to the inside to see what is broken on the latch and is it easy to replace the latch yourself and how to do it?If not how much would it cost to get replaced?Any help is appricated.
