Convertible Top Slack Adjustment

Anyone know how to adjust the slack out of the convertible tops? I have the heated back glass and it sags really bad. It needs to be tighter and without the water pond catching dip it has in it now. Anyone?

Take it to a shop. The glass is a seperate piece from the actual vert top. You have to basically remove the back half of the convertible top to get to the staples that hold the glass piece. Once you get to the glass piece it's easy: pull the staples out, pull the glass piece taught, and restaple. But then you have put the convertible top back in place. Again have a pro do it. It'll probably cost $200 but at least you won't have any leaks.

Its always fun to work on a top. If you,ve never done it before then you should not try unless you want to learn. You might be able to unbolt the top from the rear sides and move it enough but You might not have enough room.
