Convertible Top Staples Backing Out

The rearmost support bar of my convertible top (closest to rear window) looks all lumpy. So I stuck my hand under the top by the glass and I can feel staples backing out a couple staples just fell out when I stuck my hand in there... Can I fix this myself or do I have to take it to a trim shop and pay to have it done?

I got an estimate from Fabinis and the said $100 to fix I an thinking DIY though...

No warranty at all

Anyways, I just fixed it myself. I moved the top to the half way up position which is the maintenance position and I was able to peel back the top and adress the problem with needle nose pliers and a hammer. I reset all staples that were still in enough to correct and removed all the ones that were completely out and just loose. I will get a good staple gun and finish the job later. Those staples are very sharp and posed a significant risk to the integrity of the fabric of the top
