converting to carb.

Hey can anyone tell me what it would take to put a 85 motor and trany in my 87 gt. my car is a auto. the 85 is a stick will a 90's trany crossmember work? any help would mean a lot.

yeah it will work....i just got through converting my 88 to carb....it will take some work but if u have the 85 car you could just swap all the parts over, if i were you i would forget about putting the 85 motor in the 87 and just convert the 87 motor to carb and use the 85 for a spare or build it up while you enjoy the 87 then do the swap

i would but the 85 is biult and free.
