that is sooooo wrong. The glass work around the bottom is novice (not that I could have done that much better). That and half the car is in primer and the other half isnt. The patches in the floorpans look like crap and that patch on the front left fender is nasty. Im not sure that car could be straightened out without thousands of hours of work. Not only would the bad work have to be found and removed but the repair area would become larger and harder to hide, im glad I didn't pay 6 grand for that.

I've had a few drinks tonight so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an "M" code a Windsor motor? Sure looks like a Windsor to me, but they say in the auction it's a clevland. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, I'm surprised that many people bid on it with a screwy description...

The rear quarter panel ends is from a '67-'68? I've always wondered how that rear would look on a '69. The '67-'68s got the nicest rear end of all the classic years. To bad so many are ruining them with the Shelby rear valance/decklid.

So have I :D. The engine in the picture definitely has Cleveland valve covers(8 bolts....Windsors have 6). It may have started life as a 351W, but I'm no expert on VIN codes.

I bet if you kicked one of the fenders that all that bondo and garbage would fall off. I paid $1900 for my car, btw. :D

I looks quite sinister in flat black. Kind of cool.

Kind of retro back to the late 70's and early 80's with the short lived IMCA styled cars. Those cars were really radical with the front apron and huge quarterpanels and wheel flairs.

Those cars were generally fugly, but like I said this car looks nicer.

It looks to me like the area around the wheel opening was stretched and the lip was hammered out to form the flare. I don't like that the flares drop over the tires like the metal melted and started flowing over past the flaring. I just don't like that look. The rear quarter end caps look like the originals were just chopped off to flow with the top surface of the quarter. The trunk lid looks stock, looks taller maybe because of the end caps. I've studied the pictures as I'm trying to figure out how I want to flare my fenders and quarters. The whole package looks like maybe it wasn't turning out as intended. It will take a lot of work to make it right.
