I thought I'd share a video with you guys that I figured some might enjoy. It's not really II related, (well it does start out with a shot of the Thundersnake), but it's performance related. This is a video that a customer made while visiting my shop for dyno tuning. He drove 13 hours from Michigan for me to custom tune his Lightning. The video is about 7 minutes long, but I'm posting the low res link so it's easy to download. Just right click and save as. Enjoy!

Not too bad of video for low bandwidth. The shop looks great too!

Project ThunderSnake is so far above my abilities that I can't imagine even attempting it. The only thing that I would change is the air intake. The intake hose detracts from the overall beauty of the car.

The YearOne people have dropped a 2003 Cobra 4.6L SC engine into a '66 Mustang and come up with a unique solution for the EFI air intake. They have modified an old Cobra oval air cleaner assembly to sit on top of the '03 supercharger with a slanted feed to the rear-mounted throttle body. I saw the pics in a magazine recently ("HotRod"?, "Mustangs and Fords"?), but unfortunetly the article posted to their website is not complete yet: http://www.yearone.com/Articles/tech3.asp?AID=28

Is it possible to turn the intake feed such that you could draw from a top-mounted oval air cleaner assembly? It would increase the overall height another couple of inches, but would create more of a traditional air cleaner look. Just a thought.
