Has anyone ever mapped out the coolant flow on a DOHC motor? I am building 2 from scratch and do not have anything to look at. I have a couple of oil/water adapters, one with a thermostat built in, one with the police oil cooler.
One motor is a twin turbo, water and oil cooled turbos. I am trying to figure out the coolant flow to decide where to tap in and to put the return lines.
The second motor I am building is a 2v I am putting navigator 4v heads on and a lower cobra intake modified to accept a 6-71 GMC blower, which means I have to move the alternator and build a custom water cross over.
I have the alternator adapter already. I am considering tapping the heads and using a 20an threaded fitting to build the cross over.
