i unscewed my fuel line that goes to my fuel pressure guage(mechanical) and there was some coolant in it......hmmmmm how the hell does that happen? i flushed it out and it seemed fine...
i figured what were the odds of two people having strange observations like that, in two days. sorry again.
i have no idea how you could get coolant in there. was it like yellow coolant or was it water? water in the fuel system? varnish? i really dont know. good luck and bump.
The only thing that comes to mind for me is that its pulling it out of the intake vacuum tree under the upper intake where the fuel pressure regulator is connected. This being the most likely source, how's it getting into the intake? Possible egr spacer/coolant line/gasket leak is my thought. Let me know...
its not in the intake , its in the fuel line that goes to my guel pressure guage that is inside the car......i flushed it out and it hasnt done it since.
I have heard that when you mount the guage inside the car and use a fuel pressure guage isolator I think you use coolant in line to the guage, maybe thats where the coolant came from.
