So I have a problem with coolent loss. First off I don't drive my car alot maybe 500 miles a year or so, mostly here locally and to shows. Before I use or put the car up I always check fluids and things, just to be sure. Ever since I have had the car it has had coolant loss, but I can't figure out for sure where. It doesn't appear to be in the oil, I change it 2 times year, the oil is not milkly or anything, nor does it have the antifreeze smell or look. I think it is going out the exhaust. There is always moisture coming out the tailpipes, not alot, but even after it has been running for along time, more so on the drivers side, but still both sides.
Any idea were the antifreeze is going or what might be causing the loss. I would say I lose 1/2 a gallon every six months. I have replaced the rad. cap.
I have a FMS 3 core rad. 180 dergree stat. No hose or connection leaks.
