Coolant Ports??

on an 87 GT on the lower intake are the coolant ports the 4 on each far corner or is it the small middle ones also?

I assume you are talking about the underside of the intake? No, those ports are part of the EGR system.

yes, so it just the ports on each of the 4 far corners that coolant passes?

I can't remember for sure, but it seems to me that the lower only flows coolant from the heads to the water neck at the front of the intake, and not to the rear. I could be wrong though, I don't have one sitting in front of me as reference. The rear MIGHT flow coolant for the heater, but don't quote me on that.

Yes the 4 ports on the corners of the lower intake are for coolant.

The small odd shaped ports are for EGR, however, only the port on the passenger side actually flows anything.
