Coolant Sensor on Overflow bottle

Since I just installed an electric fan and I need an after market overflow- how do i reconnect this sensor? Or do I even worry about it

On my T-Bird I never had it hooked up. I dont know if its good or bad.

No, you don't have too have it hooked up. Mines been unhooked for about 2 years now and no problems.

That sensor will not affect how the car runs, but may trigger the cel, depending on the year, etc.

You could get creative with the stock overflow bottle and move it elsewhere, using metal brackets to mount it up, etc.

I used zip ties, baby, to mount my stock overflow bottle when I installed my 3.8 Taurus fan. Works perfect
