I have a GT foxbody that had the rubber tube in the back for letting out overflowed gas that would go all the way down to the bottom of the bumper and was held in with a retainer. I just swapped to a cobra rear bumper and now the tube sticks out below the bumper. How does the tube go on factory cobras/LX’s? Do I just cut it and let it hang?

I have a 91 LX.
I took pictures for you. Hopefully it’s helpful.
The tube comes down the rear passenger side as you know. It goes into a grommet that’s underneath the side of the bumper that has a flat lip. It (tube) doesn’t just hang. If the cobra bumper has that flat area underneath you can make a hole and install a grommet then cut the hose to length if needed and secure it in the grommet. If that makes sense?
