cooling fan problems

hi im new here just bought a 96 gt cooling fan wont come on jummperd fan it works hi and lo speeds replaced ccrm with new one no matter what I tried its like pcm isn't calling for fan to come on

Let's see if we can get you to test just a little more. Do you know what the PCM "thinks" is the motor's temperature (ECT)? If you did this would give focus to your trouble shooting.

Here's some information on an affordable ODB2 scanner. The cost of the scanner would likely have been paid for by the savings from not replacing a possible good CCRM.

How else could an advanced ODB2 scanner help here? How about by using the bi-directional ability to "command" the PCM to turn on the low speed fan at will? Then you will very quickly find out IF the PCM does or does not have control of the cooling fan.
