Hey! My stock cooling fan on my 96 GT seized up so I ordered an aftermarket dual motor cooling fan with 2 wires per fan. I want to be able to hook it up to the factory 3 prong connector so it'll operate like normal. Does anyone know what the 3 prongs on the connector are for, and have any suggestions on how to wire it?.

The factory fan is a two-speed unit. The factory harness will have connections for low-speed (red/org), high-speed (org/light blue) and common (blk).

You might try wiring one fan to the low-speed feed and the other to the high-speed feed, returning them both on the black common. You should consider using relays on each of the feeds in case the fans require more current than the OE circuit is intended to deliver.
