Anyone here ever put copper head gaskets on a Ford? I used them on my MR2, and never had any problems, but I've never personally ran them on a Ford. I'm considering upgrading to copper head gaskets when I put my engine back together. This blowing a head gasket every 7 years is a PITA.

I don't think you can run Cometic or MLS gaskets with an O-ringed head. In theory, an O-ringed head on a stock gasket should be stronger than a MLS gasket.

I've always used the standard Fel-pro head gaskets, but I think I'm pushing them too hard on the bottle.
