I am finally looking into replacing my stock 2000 GT seats and have been reading many posts on aftermarket seats. I found that the Corbeau GTSII seats cost about what I want to pay and look nice too.

I've also read more than one comment that the Corbeau's don't last very long. Some claim that the cloth wore after only 1 year. Others have said that the brackets are weak.

Has anyone had Corbeau's for a long period of time (3-4 years) that can comment on their quality?

Thanks!

I just got a pair of CR1 seats with the double locking sliders.I had to send the sliders back because they didn't unlatch completely after the install.I have sent 2 emails to them with no reply yet.The seats are sweet but so far i am not too impressed with the customer service.I think if i did it over again i would pay the extra for a complete set of 03-04 cobra seats.Good luck with your decision.

I am buying a set of Cobra daytona seats. they use the recaro double lock recliners. I too wanted to pay the corbeau price but I am only buying a pair of seats once with my hard earned cash.

if you are getting mustang cobra seats cause you think they better support your upper back like corbeau's or recaro style seats this is not the case. only in the 2005 mustang has ford finally fixed thier pos seat design they have been using forever.
