isn't the only thing holding the side marker light in is one bolt? Ive taken them out before but the one I was trying to get out today would not budge at all, I have no idea whats holding it in the housing. They are aftermarket side markers.

stand on the side of the car, grab edges and pull towards you.
be careful when tightening the nut back up,just snug it up or you could crack the plastic header panel.

I tried pulling and pushing and twisting but the damn thing would not budge, maybe I just didn't have the right angle as stated above, I'll give it another shot tomorrow. Just confused me b/c any other time Ive taken them out once that one bolt was removed they basically fell out on their own

There's a plastic pin that kinda wedges in behind the single bolt. That may be wedged in real tight. Take a flashlight and poke around where the side marker bolt is, and you should see what I'm talking about. You can probably tap that pin with a wrench or something to get it to move.

I'll try that again, did not seem like it wanted to move much before when I did that

go it, gave it one good tug from the side thinking its either going to come out or break, it came out

Im fixing the weather stripping along the marker, its started to come off and instead buying new side makers Im just going to superglue the stripping back into place.

I don't know what you have weatherstripping-wise but I seem to recall that Tom used to make guys some nice looking 'wipes' that went along the top of the headlights, so it blended the tops of the headlight and marker light.

That has nothing to do with what you're doing, but if you're working on the weatherstripping appearance anyhow, it might be worth considering.......

Good luck.
