Have two problems guys

1. My speedo is off from the 3.73s (stock 17 inch wheels and tires). I have seen recalibration devices and new speedo gears for sale. Whats the best method on these cars?

2. My trip odometer doesnt work and its digital? I dont have a clue on this one. Every post I've read talks about the gear driven type. Any experience out there?

to correct your speedo you will need a hand held tuner...it will fix your problem instantly..

as for your other problem, someone else will have to help you on that..

How do you have a digital odometer in a '97?

Normally for a '97, either a speedo gear or speed-cal type device will work with the speed-cals being capable of more accuracy. The speedo isn't driven by the PCM so a tuner won't fix it like it will with later Mustangs.
