Ive been looking on craigslist for a used supercharger kit, kenne bell, vortech, powerdyne and whatnot. Realistically how much does a used supercharger cost? Some people are trying to sell their used kits that cost 3,000 for 2200 with 6000 miles on the supercharger. Im just trying to see what everyone else thinks. So far i found a vortech s-trim for a 87-93 fox full kit. For 1250 and 4000 miles on it. Pretty good? Im looking to get one for $900. But i just need the blower, and the mounting pieces. No injectors maf and all the other parts, but people are still trying to get upwards of around 2000 outta me.

I got a used strim full kit and a gt40 intake for 1k. Keep looking around, you'll find one.

It depends on the kit and accessories with it when it comes to cost. Definately check it for excessive play. For $900 your probably not gonna get much, maybe a newer V1 if your lucky enough to stumble across a steal, but more likely an older Paxton (sn93), Vortech, Powerdyne, P600b Procharger. But then again times are getting tough...you may be able to find a great steal from someone strapped for cash!

Expect to pay around $2000 for a kit that is in good shape and is complete.

I've seen S-trim kits selling for around $1500, but if you think you are going to get a blower for $900, its probly not gonna happen.

Juust because its a used part dosent mean someone is going to give it away. I bought my Novi 2000 kit for $2400, it came with a AFM pipe, no injectors, MAF, or fuel pump. I considered that a pretty fair deal seeing that the kit cost around 3500 new.

Superchargers(used ones anyways) hold thier value extremly well, i bought myne for $2400, used it for 2 years and sold it for $2200 shipped.

Save up another 1100 bucks, and you will be in buisness. Cause if you offer someone $900 bucks for something that they are asking 2g's for, they are probly not gonna take you too seriously

I bought my brand new SC-trim for under $1500.00 when they had the rebates! Given i'd need a pulley swap to run 10lbs but i only want 5-6 anyways. Also, a guy on a local form around me bought a used s-trim complete just as it would come from vortech for 1000.00. I think it had around 10k on it though. So. Your best off buying one for 1500.00. Bc then you'll get a low mileage good blower. Just because its 500 less doesn't mean its a good deal. It could need a rebuild in a thousand miles or something along those lines. Best off buying a good used low mileage one for average price!!

good prices on new v1 fox kits on ebay..im sure we all have seen them
who needs used

the brand ,type , and mileage have big effects thats true

s trims are cheap

an intercooled procharger is gonna get some more coin i think

kenne bells, well they dont have as many floating around and some of us have our lower intake maniflods changed already

i usually think $2000 give or take for a lightly used v2 with a few whistles..injectors etc.

paxton and procharger a bit more
